Join us to ring in the NEW YEAR!
What is it?
The Sunset Theatre, Island Mountain Arts and Frog on the Bog Gifts invite you to ring in the new year with a 1930s flair.
As the sun sets on 2023, let us whisk you back 89 years to the Sunset' Theatre’s grand opening!
Your ticket includes a photography booth, dancing lessons, tasty treats and a midnight toast, with musical mood set by a house band featuring Patrick Courtin, Simon Paterson and additional surprises along the way.
Feel free to come out "toggled to the bricks" (that is to say, dressed up) or as you are!
When is it?
On Sunday, December 31st, 2023, the doors will open at 8:00 PM, with music and activities peppered throughout the evening.
Who’s it for?
This event will welcome folks of all ages, but please note that parental discretion is advised for events after midnight.
How much is it?
Tickets are $30.00 General Admission, or join as a group of 4 for only $100.00. Your ticket includes live music, photo booth memories, mid-eve snacks and a midnight toast.
You also have the option to purchase a sustaining ticket. This $60.00 ticket reflects the cost that would fall to event organizers without the help of our funders and sponsors, including the Department of Canadian Heritage, Canada Council for the Arts, The Province of British Columbia, Creative BC and Frog on the Bog Gifts.

We’re working to create a space that is safe and fun for all bodies and beings. If you chose to imbibe, please, don’t drink and drive! Instead, grab yourself a room in Wells for the night!
Volunteer?
Want to take part in a meaningful way? We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup in advance, teardown afterwards, and box office and bar throughout the evening. Get in touch with elyssia@imarts.com if you’d like to be involved! A 2-hour shift nets you a ticket!
