Synopsis of Postdiluvian:
An immortal man who has lived through the end of the world wanders an endless desert and reflects on his life.
Ryan Schmitt:
Ryan Schmitt lives in Wells. He has mostly written sketch comedy before this play. If you think about it in a really specific way a sketch is just a play with more words. If you think about it in a completely different specific way a sketch is not just a play with more words. Everyone at least agrees that sketches and plays are things that actually exist, except for all the people who don’t. Ryan Schmitt likes being in a sunbeam indoors when its cold outside and has had the way he eats chicken be described as “Like a monster”. He has great difficulty telling what facts from his life are relevant to something like this but promises that it shouldn’t translate to the play he wrote. Ryan swears he is taking this seriously its just a different kind of serious than what other people may mean when they say “serious”.
